- From 1968 until 11th January, 1998, I lived in Melbourne, Australia (of which 1989 to 1996 was at the CSIRO Division of Mineral Products in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia). . .
- - Despite being a tee-totaller, friends in Melbourne advise I should be consuming great amounts of this while in the UK/England.
Refer advice received about "Hangover Vitamins"- A Feb 2008 addition: the word Tee-Totaller: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teetotalism:
Etymology: One anecdote attributes the origin of the word to a meeting of the Preston Temperance Society in 1832 or 1833. This society was founded by Joseph Livesey, who was to become a leader of the temperance movement and the author of The Pledge: "We agree to abstain from all liquors of an intoxicating quality whether ale, porter, wine or ardent spirits, except as medicine." The story attributes the word to Dicky Turner, a member of the society, who had a stammer, and in a speech said that nothing would do but "tee-tee-total abstinence". - Temperance Pledge Form from an 1890's Family Pictorial Bible (The Pronouncing Edition of the Holy Bible containing the authorised and revised versions of old and new testaments arranged in parallel columns giving the correct pronounciation of every proper name contained in the bible by Prof S. W. Williams.) :
