I'm really warming to Bob Carr ... it takes a certain person to claim that flying business class is worse than the Atlantic slave trade.  Can you imagine if a conservative politician said this?  (What you say, Carr is a conservative, doesn't share Labor values, etc.)
We watched him last night and the funniest thing was that he thinks he is funny and ironic. He is not.
But I think the really telling thing in today's press is that his objection to media regulation was not based on principle but rather the idea that the government should be staying friendly with the press.  That pretty much sums up the man, in my opinion.
